Antique Japanese Meiji Era 4 Tiered Round Imari Kasane Jubako ShiShi Foo Dogs 9" Plane Vintage Japanese silk Shibori styleThis is an antique Japanese four level round lidded food box known as a Jubako made of ceramic in the Meiji Era (1868 1912). All levels nest together along with a lid which is fitted to rest nicely on the top. It is covered in all hand painted red, blue green and tan and features the Japanese ShiShi (Foo Dogs). There is a visible hairline on the bottom level. It has been used lovingly and stored for over a century, it still remains in otherwise good
