At the time that this map was published, Korea (Corea) was still one nation, and Macau's (Macao) land area was a third of what it is today. Many old cities are known by their old names on this map, such as Canton (now Guangzhou) and Pekin (Beijing). Intriguingly, you can also see the route that Lord Macartney took
