Shanxi Painted Chinese Cabinet, Black Lacquer TV Unit Tables like our black lacquerOur black lacquer painted Chinese cabinets are reproductions of the wonderful furniture that was produced in Shanxi province in north central China for centuries. Cabinets were usually finished in red or black lacquer, often gilded and usually painted with landscapes, family valuables or, as in our version, scenes of children at play. These cabinets are decorated by hand with gold leaf before being painted so each one is in some way unique. Use one as
