It was finely handcrafted in Germany circa 1950s. Its cartoon like expression, with glass googly eyes, is adorable. Its body is made of short mohair plush. Its head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. This puppet has been loved and shows plush wear.
