This vase was used in a butsudan (Buddhist family shrine) to offer flowers. It is made of a heavy bronze and has a thick raised design of birds on branches with flowers. This vase measures 4 1 2" wide at the fluted top to 3" at the base by 5 1 2" tall (11. 5 x 7. 5 x 14 cm). With exception to some signs of use with bumps and one cracked elephant head seen in pic 2
