Antique Japanese Mokugyo Buddhist Drum Keyaki Wood 6" Inkstone Made of the finest persimmonThis is an antique Japanese Mokugyo from the early to mid 20th century. Used as a Buddhist and Zen temple drum. Hand carved and made from one piece of keyaki or Japanse elm. There are several areas where the wood has been worn or chipped but it a beautiful and fully functional drum. It is approximately 6" x 5" x 5"
