Ming Two Drawer Chest, Black Lacquer Filing Cabinet scenes of children at playThe construction and overall look of this black lacquer chest are in keeping with furniture from the Ming dynasty, it is our own design rather than a reproduction of an old Chinese piece. The two drawers are dovetail jointed and mounted on wooden runners, with the round backed brass handles adding oriental style. Use a pair either side of a bed or place one next to a sofa as a lamp table.
