Antique Japanese Edo Era c 1850's Imari Ceramic Bowl w/ Quail 6" Suzuribako see pics for detailsThis is an antique Japanese late Edo Era (c. 1800 to 1860) Imari ceramic bowl all hand painted in gold, blue, red and green with various floral design and two ground birds, perhaps quail. This bowl measures 6" in diameter by 3 1 4" tall (15 x 8. 5 cm). Having been well cared for this bowl remains in fine condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines though there are a few spot of enamel glaze missing.
