Not only is this map extremely striking with its blue line art, but it was also part of the first "road atlas" of California. The map shows a fairly large chunk of San Diego, with downtown and Balboa Park (and San Diego Zoo!) in the middle, Mission Bay in the top left, and all of North Island and Point Loma. In a nice twist, the suburbs of National City, La Mesa
