It dates to mid or late 20th century. Suitable more for the winter season, its walls are high and thick, to keep the tea warm longer. It has a hansom gray "orange peel" glaze over white oribe clay. This chawan measures 5 1 2" wide at its widest by 3" tall. Having been carefully stored it remains in fine condition.
