Picrochole, 2020 Beaujolais Producer: Anders Frederik SteenWe tasted four of Claire and Florents famous Cab Francs, Picrochole was our favourite. Sophisticated but not stuffy, lots of aromatic, spiced fruits, concentrated tannins but still somehow light and crunchy. Vines are grown south facing, grapes are fermented whole bunch for two months, then aged in old casks for a year. Made for our most elegant wine drinkers, you know who you are.
