The leather chosen is genuine leather processed and dyed in Himeji; at a specialty small craftsman factory who used to make leather for baseball mitts. We made sure to use only leather that came from the by product of meat production; in order to save waste. It is then handcrafted and sewn into a roll case. Each leather piece will wear in with time;
