Oats Common - Avena sativa - Cover Crop / Green Manure / Grain Sylvetta 6m with densely rosulate copiouslyEarly maturing and good standing with very high yields. A good choice for underseeding with a legume. Oats are a quick growing green manure. For winter cover, sow by early May. The heavy stubble will prevent erosion. For grain production, sow seeds in early spring for a summer harvest. We recommend planting oats at 1kg of seed to 75m2.
