This tsuba is made with all hand forged steel and is in the shape of a nagamarugata originally engraved with a leaf motif. This tsuba shows considerable wear from regular use. There are at least two tagane ato around the nakago indicating it was most certainly affixed to a sword. A beautiful example of samurai craftsmanship. It
