This is an antique Japanese 19th century bronze kagami mirror with images of Cranes & Turtles among pine trees
The tsuba is made with typical forged steel and is in the shape of a marugata etched with a linked chain pattern around the edge reenforced by the Kôzuka-bitsu ana and Kogai-hitsu ana
The vase is imprinted with a rope texture and decorated with a green crackle glaze on one side
