Antique Japanese c1900 Meiji Era Ceramic Imari Plate Pine Cranes & Mt Fuji 8.5" Chawan Saikan no Sanyu (歳寒三友) orThis is an antique late Meiji Era (c. 1900) Japanese Imari ceramic plate with a transfer print design of Mt. Fuji with a sculptured pine tree in the foreground and cranes flying above. The combination of cranes and pine are a symbol of strength and longevity in Japan.
