I maneuvered the weight around the mouthpiece, for some reason horses understand it better. I've designed this shank to hang straight like a solid bit with the forgiveness of a loose shank. We suggest it for a broke horse. A very soft port that features a 1 2" bar that has a long transtion from the port to the bar. Not tall enough to
