Dave Middlemast - September 26, 2021 Hi If it’s a kill only water why use barbless no matter what anyone says you do loose fish more on barbless I’ve corse fished and fly fished for over 55 years I ain’t against de barbed or barbless hooks just there are times for them and no need for them but what does upset me is reading using treble hooks even barbless is barbaric damage to any fish And trauma of been handled to get the hook out to me is wrong all my spinners have one single hook on the end Barry Purcell - July 24, 2021 I have used barbless hooks, either manufactured or self flattened, I hardly ever loose a fish, certainly no more than my buddies, sorry I should have said for about thirty years.
